I am a technology for development professional with 8 years of work experience with various non-profits in India. I have supported more than 30 non-profit organizations with their technology requirements such as Donor management, Program management and Monitoring & Evaluation systems. I have helped them visualize their data to make important strategic decisions. Currently, I am part of a team that is building an AI and augmented reality enabled mobile phone based application to detect the malnutrition of kids under age 5.

CHILD GROWTH MONITOR, WELTHUNGERHILFE, MUMBAI, INDIA

Child Growth Monitor (CGM), a comprehensive solution based on a mobile app using augmented reality in combination with artificial intelligence to instantly detect malnutrition, is WHH’s India- based digital innovation project. My responsibilities are as follows:

  • Scrum Master for the development of CGM
  • Managing coordination with 30 global AI experts, software developers and volunteers
  • Building and leading CGM’s development team in India with 15+ members
  • Interfacing between global software developers and local field implementers in India
  • Managing partnerships with stakeholders around the world
TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION CONSULTANT AUG 2019 - PRESENT

ANTARANG FOUNDATION, MUMBAI, INDIA

Antarang assists youth (in the age group of 14-25 years) from disadvantaged backgrounds to bridge the gap between education to employability and launch themselves on the path to a fulfilling career. My responsibilities are as follows:

  • Analysis and visualization of their Career Aware and Career Ready programs’ data
  • Developing insights based on 40 key metrics such as the number of students who need employment, percentage of youth with increased income from employment, key reasons why young people leave jobs, etc.
  • Helping build monitoring and evaluation frameworks based on insights from the data

The IDEX Accelerator Fellowship is a 6-month long program designed to give aspiring social intrapreneurs and leaders a launchpad into the development sector. As an IDEX Accelerator Fellow, I worked at Mirakle Couriers - an Indian social enterprise courier service that creates employment opportunities for hearing and speaking impaired people from low-income backgrounds.
